Created Some Buttons

Mar/29/2004 12:33 PM

This week is button avatar week at ClieSource so I created a couple of buttons to use in my avatar. I made a 'ClieSource Mod' and a 'Clie NX60' button. I also used one I created a month or two ago, the one that says 'CBulock'.

Nice buttons, I made one for my site, though I never really had a use for it, any suggestions? Anways, that ad is kinda cool, but a bit bulky, and plus why does it go over two posts? I am using IE at school right now, maybe when I get home my questions will be answered. It's good to know that WMD are in a neighborhood near you, well I guess that's what happens when people live next door to George W. ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this, but this comment box is screwy, and I think the one on my site is too... I don't think it does it on a comp w/ a higher resolution, but the page for commenting is to big for the window, and the window doesn't resize. Is there anyway to make it adjust to resolution? I know that you can take off the "noresize" tag to let it resize, though I'm not sure of how that would work in CSS, though adjusting to the user's screen resolution would work better than that.

Yeah, as I thought, it looks fine with the higer resolution in my laptops screen, but on the school computers it is screwy. Also, Firefox has that ad going over two posts as well.

There isn't really any trick to getting images to span multiple posts. They just will if the image is to big. I think you also have to specify an alignment. For example, that image has a left align property.
As for the comment boxes, there is javascript code that pops them up and is set to 480x480 at default. So it should be the same size no matter the resolution. You could try changing it on your site and see if it has any effect. It seems to work fine at 800x600 and higher screens, so I think I might leave it as it is.
