About Me
Computers, American food and alcohol. That pretty much sums me up. I love constantly learning things. I'm the weird guy that will endlessly read random articles on Wikipedia for fun. I am pretty much always up for having some drinks. Anything but tequila that is. I like to write code. I spend about half my time with my kids. They are amazingly smart and constantly surprise me.
Employment
I currently work for a fast growing company in Lansing, Liquid Web. I've worked there since September of 2007 and just after a few months the company has almost doubled in size. I work in the dedicated setups department which means I build and setup servers for customers. It's a nice job with great benefits.I previously used to work at Corecomm Internet Services, a dial-up ISP. I did a number if things there including work as a technical support coach for their call center. For that I was responsible for making sure new hires get proper training. I also trained new hires in special areas and then develop them over their initial 90 days. This includes monitoring calls and doing evaluations on employees. I also worked as a project developer on special projects such as helping create training materials and some small web coding for some internal tools. On the weekends I worked as point supervisor, which meant that I managed the technical support department and page out engineers if there are network issues and such. I also at one time took tech support calls. In the end I moved to the helpdesk department and worked on email support and did internal support of the computers in the office. I have been workied there from February of '04 to August of '07.
Here is my resume for more information.

How did u get this individual page to be in the same style as yer other pages, and have comments on it w/o it being part of the normal blog?

It's actually another blog. What I did was create another blog in Movable Type called Static Pages. Then I got rid of all the index and archive templates except for the individual archive template. I also edited the archive settings so the files are saved as the title of the page. So, this page is titled "About Me", so it was archived as about_me.html. Then I edited the Individual archive template file so that it would remove the date posted info, and links to other posting in this blog. Then, I also had it reference the same style sheet as my main blog, so any style sheet changes will also effect this page. I also just put up a resume and am redoing the page that has my familys pics on it all using this method. It's basically a way to have permanent pages, with all the benefits of Movable Type and without doing all the HTML coding.

Amazing, though it sounds like alot of work. I don't suppose that you could just lend me some of the code :)

Hard to say. Could be a bad drive. Or just needs to be fdisked. Is it formatted NTFS or FAT?
Comment by: Cameron Bulock on December 22, 2004 03:11 PM
I would Fdisk, but its got some pics (and files) i'd like 2 retrieve first. Also I can get to a dos prompt thu the working drive, but it wont always recognize the 20 gig "bad" drive.
